For the past 45+ years, we have produced and exported spicy ingredients to clients in local and international markets (US, EU, UK, Middle East). We have valuable experience in the production and export of fermented, aged, pureed and concentrated chili peppers of the Capsicum genus.


We use chili peppers produced by local farmers. To whom we provide the seeds, technical assistance, and collection of their crops. In Colombia, we handle approximately 300 hectares through 80 different farmers who produce Tabasco, Cayenne, Jalapeno and Habanero peppers.

OUR PROCESS

Harvested products are carefully selected to use only those fruits with optimum conditions. The product is washed, grounded and concentrated under controlled and hygienic conditions. With the use of salt to control its conservation, the product starts a fermentation process that enhances its flavour, color, and smell. The resulting paste can  be concentrated and or dehydrated. Throughout our production process, we never include colorings, heating or evaporation practices which would damage the natural pungency and color.

Environmental concerns are at the heart of our operations. A great deal of the technical assistance provided to farmers goes into product excellence through the promotion of sustainable and environmentally sound agricultural practices.

compacto

COMPACTO is a stable concentrated mash available with or without seeds or skins. It contains only pepper, salt and a stabilizing agent as vinager or acetic acid. It can be used in the food industry as well as an ingredient for the HORECA sector.

Shelf life: 2 years

Environmental: each kg contains 50% lower carbon footprint, 5 times less waste generated and 20% less energy used when compared to our traditional mash.

mashes and purees

Our standard product is a fermented mash of any pepper variety. It contains only pepper and salt. This mash can be pureed and available without seeds or skins. it is ideal for sauce producers or as an ingredient for any food industry.

Our packing options

Plastic drums

Plastic drums can contain up to 205 Kg of mash and 215 Kg of Compacto. Four drums per pallet.

A total of 80 drums can be arranged in a 20' container and 120 in a 40' container.

Flexitank

Flexitanks are used with clients that require a large amount of product throughout the year. It holds 23,500 Kg and it is used in a 20' container.
